Shaving bikini area has always been a challenge to most women. They try different varieties cream and razors to clear the area. Some end up with a rash and irritation while many others have cuts and bruises. It’s an obvious fact that bikini line is very sensitive area; particularly the groin area and it should be handled with care.
Here a few tips to shave and beautify the bikini line.
Before shaving, the first step should be to apply a lubricant in the area especially around the groins. Soaps can be used for lubricating. A thick lather should be worked out before applying the shaving cream or even a hair conditioner. Then the area should be shaved. Always a sharp razor should be used to avoid having to repeat the same area.
While shaving, the best position is to stand in a bath tub and put leg on a raised surface. Care should be taken to ensure that the surface has the ability to withstand the weight and wouldn’t slip. While shaving always an upward motion should be followed. The razor should be moved from back slowly towards the front and up in a parallel line. Shaving the same area more than once should be avoided.
Once shaved, the area should be immediately washed with nice cool water. The area should be dried gently using a towel. Deodorants should be applied soon after drying to avoid irritation and razor bumps. It would soothe the skin. There are no special deodorants for bikini lines. Any under arm or body deodorant could be used. Those with sensitive skin must apply deodorants.
