How To Apply False Eyelashes?

Every body has eyelashes. Some have dense while others have light. Some have it long, others have it short. Long and thick eyelashes make a good impact of the eye’s appearance, they look beautiful.

There are many cosmetics available to enhance the appearance of the eyelashes. Along with these, using artificial eyelashes is also an option. This was a popular choice few decades ago, but it is still in use and applied to enhance eyes mostly in special occasions. Here are a few tips on artificial eyelashes:

• The color of the false or fake eyelashes should match as closely as possible to the original eyelashes. This would make it look natural when the enhancements would be attached.

• On first sight, all false eyelashes will look the same. But on closer look a design and style difference would be visible. Some would have distinct edgings, layering or curvatures. It’s always better to go for the one that is soft, undemonstrative design that would easily gel with the natural one, instead of opting for one that looks unrealistic in mass or length.

• To apply the artificial eyelashes, they should be glued on the edge of the eyes. Care should be taken to ensure both the eyes look the same and also outer edge of the lashes don’t stick away from the lash line. It’s always better to stand before the mirror and fix the lashes. If the lashes appearance than the lash line, then it may have to be trimmed. But care should be taken not to over trim as it may become unusable. Lashes should be removed from the eyes before trimming.

• Any make up on the face should be done after applying the lashes. Also, the make up should be in usual style with eye shadow, liner and mascara. Overdoing any aspect of the makeup would call for attention on the new eyelashes and may back fire as well.

• Artificial eyelashes are not meant for everyday use. It should be used regularly only if no or very little natural eyelashes are left. It’s better to use them for parties, night out and other special occasion. Some times there would dilemma whether to use it or not, then getting a second opinion from friend or spouse would be usual.

• Precautions: Artificial eyelashes are meant to add beauty and style but overdoing would take away of the killing. A cosmetic counter assistant would be able to guide on choice of eyelashes. For no reason should any use eyelashes used by others as it can carry harbor bacteria and also hold traces of the other person’s cosmetics.
