How To Apply Bare Mineral Makeup?

For application, follow the simple steps:
- First of all, clean your face with some mild skin cleaner applying it using a cotton ball. This way, your face will be free of dust and other foreign particles.
- Moisturize your face, forehead or the part on which makeup is to be applied. The natural oil of the skin acts as a binding agent for the mineral powders. It helps the makeup to blend properly with the skin. After applying the moisturizer, wait for about ten minutes. If even otherwise, your skin is too oily lesser or no moisturizer will be needed. - Put a small quantity of foundation in the cap of the jar and add layers on face as may be needed to cover up blemishes. Do not apply excessive quantity.
- With the help of the makeup brush pick up some mineral powder and spread it on the face evenly. Ensure that discolored parts are covered properly. Thick coating is not required for this purpose.
- Buff the makeup using the buffing brush. Selection of brush is very essential. A proper brush will reduce the quantity of cosmetic used and the finish will be even. Slightly higher amount of investment may be needed on this item.
- After this apply eyeliner and use a brush to remove any powder that has dropped on your cheeks.
- If you need to dab on any enhancers on some specific place, which can be under the eye or chin. Apply some foundation to finger tips and dab your blemishes to make them disappear.
- To get an even and fine finish apply the mineral makeup by moving the brush on your cheeks in the circular motion. Start lightly on the cheeks and move to the sides of your face.
- Check your face in the mirror. If you spot any blemishes left uncovered or any uneven spots, apply some more powder to that area. Remember to tap the brush gently to dislodge any excess powder the brush may have picked up.
